OUR STORY

Our fearless leader, David Byrne, is a fourth generation retailer who is obsessed with great denim.  He’s also passionate about Wellington and for over 25 years Hurricane Denim has been the place to go for amazing jeans and exceptional service.

Dave’s also keen on boats, so our store brand includes New Zealand’s first permanent lighthouse at Pencarrow. 

Overlooking out over the Wellington Harbour, this important piece of New Zealand’s maritime history was a beacon lighting the way for ships from around the world and now it helps Dave and the Hurricane Denim team shine.  

STUDENT DISCOUNT

We currently offer a 10% student discount to any tertiary students who presents a valid ID. This discount is only available to redeem on full priced products and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
