Mavi infuses Mediterranean detail with world-class denim, giving it an exotic twist to an otherwise run-of-the-mill garment. Today clothes are internationally divorced from their origins, but Mavi chooses to stand out. To celebrate the rich culture of their exotic background; they seize every opportunity to show off their mastery of techniques acquired over more than 50 years in the industry. 

In 2011, Mavi took part in the Bread and Butter Trade Show in Berlin. They unveiled the Denim Kitchen, where a 'chef' prepared a pair of Mavi jeans right there and then - drawing parallels between the preparation of a gourmet meal and the crafting of a pair of Mavi jeans.  The immaculate attention required for each unique thread, rivet and zipper; the mastery over their tools; and the final touches that makes them proud to call them Mavi jeans. Like watching any master at work, the crowd was spellbound by this process of creation, from washing and processing right through to finishing. 

Since 1991 Mavi has been Turkey's biggest fashion label, venturing onto the global stage; featuring in over 4,000 stores in 40 countries, with more than 285 of their own retail stores. In Turkish, the word 'Mavi' means 'blue' and even with their heritage of craftsmanship, Mavi never stays still, always striving and pushing for innovation.
